I personally think this has been the winter from hell. Alberta clippers stink, don't like'em never will. It seems like it has been below average cold since October. This garbage can't end fast enough for me. I don't mind a little cold weather but this is absolutely ridiculous.
Come'on Spring please Come'on.
Yes, this chicken mcsuks for sure! The only thing that puts a smile on my face (well not the only thing:)) anyway.....is knowing that Al Gore also has to live with weather like this! Hope he gets frost bite in the mouth!:p

So much for Al Gore's theory on global warming. His Mojo has frozen up.
It's already cold enough here to freeze the tail off a cat and the temp is supposed to fall to a sweltering 5 degrees tonight. That means I get to snuggle up real close to Sweetie Pie. mmmmm!

That reminds me of things we used to do as kids. Did you ever lick something with frost on it and have your tongue stick? "Mama! Don's tongue is stuck to the clothesline post and he can't get it loose." lol Oops! No offense, I was thinking about one of my cousins named Don.

LOL actually it was a tether ball post but I won the dare! Like Dad always said....Boy if your gonna be stupid, you better be tough!:)
I took no offense Mrs Bug.:) made me remember a child hood event.
3 degrees this morning at my house...colder'n a well digger's hiney in Bowling Green folks.
I turned on the seat heater this morning on the way to work. Usually never even think about it, except to turn it off on the wife's side because she always leaves it on.
Anybody know anything about gas logs? I turned ours on last night for the first time, but it stunk the house up so bad I had to turn it off. I waited thinking the smell would burn off after a while but it didn't. I'm thinking the thing's broke, propane isn't supposed to smell when it's burning. Anyone have any ideas?

Jim what kinda smell?? It is natural for those things to have a fairly strong odor the first run out of the gate if you have never used it before. It will stop after a few hours and you shouldn't smell it again. We had 5 degrees below zero at my house this morning, this weather is insane. Global Warming my ...
Another question...Is it vented or ventless? The box will heat up and give off a little smell to but nothing to worry about, again normal for the most part.

Hard to describe the smell. A strong rank smell, not like raw propane. I put on a heavy coat to go outside around the time the thing got fired up and I was wondering why my coat stunk till I realized it was the gas logs. It's ventless.
Call the manufactorer of the stove and ask them, what you are describing doesn't sound normal at all, and actually could be a safety risk. Good luck ain't it always sumpin, lol.
BTW, seen on the news where something like 8 places across the nation have now recorded new all time low temps ever. The state of Maine recorded a low last night in Caribou of -50 degrees which now is their new all time state recorded low temp. The windchill there last night they said was -68 degrees. Boy's I never have bought this Global Warming stuff, and this year has just solidified with me that's it's complete and udder garbage.
