Yo Zuri Hybrid Smoke
I just finished a spool of Sufix Elite and I'm trying to decide whether to buy some more or go back to Gamma. (Can't really decide which I like best between the two) Then I saw this Yo Zuri hybrid, seems to get good reviews. Anybody on here ever use it? I know it's part Fluoro and part Nylon, so I wouldn't expect it to be as sensitive as 100% Fluoro but how's the abrasion and stretch. I'm going to force myself to watch my line more this year so I thought about getting something with a little tint. Does anybody know if the smoke and smoke purple are the same line? Some places have both names and others just the smoke. Thanks...

Re: Yo Zuri Hybrid Smoke
I had my issues with the Yo Zuri hybrid line last year with the vendor. Long story short, never put it on my reels gave away the 2 spools that I bought and Smoke and Smoke Purple are NOT the same line. Supposively the purple will glow under a blacklight and the smoke will not but I will never know because both Yo Zuri and the dealer in NY that they sent me to in order to buy it both dropped the ball TWICE. Hope it works for you

Re: Yo Zuri Hybrid Smoke
Sensitivity- pretty good.
Stretch - less than mono not quite as good as 100% fluro,
Memory - middle of the road,
casting - Not as good as suffix but really not bad
Strength- Better than some
Visibility - Doesn't do as good as you would think but not bad
Overall - I keep an extra spool in my boat in case of an emergency, but it is not my go to line by any means.... but it is pretty decent line.

Yes.
You can cast a country mile and it is strong line. It all depends on what you use it for but overall ..... good

Yep I agree, the Sufix Elite is great casting and strong. The Sufix Seige is really tough where abrasion counts and just as strong but you give up a little in the casting department on spinning reels. I kind of see Gamma Copoly as somewhere in the middle of the two in the way it handles but maybe stronger than both. Of course I could be way off. I just like messing around with different lines for some sick reason. :)
