Re: Pond fishing results...
I am with you in the fact that a Beetle Spin will clean out a pond in no time. Also like rigging a Fluke Jr. weightless in the early spring for it will catch one or two also.
Re: Pond fishing results...
How did you fish them, I have tried them with no luck what so ever, tried yellow and black, green, and white with no luck, fished them in small lakes.
Re: Pond fishing results...
Today (Monday) is the pick of the week for hitting the farm ponds...mark my words on this one fella's. If you don't hit the farm pond today then it's probably because you're a poor working stiff like myself.
Re: Pond fishing results...
I'm going straight to upper @#!$*^% creek, I figure there will be less ice.
Re: Pond fishing results...
Chub... I say we leave at lunch and I will take you out to my place and charge it to TEGA.100! All travel time...

Bob46,
If you are refering to the Beetle Spin, then fish it like a spinnerbait. Don't just cast and reel, start it stop it erratic jerks from time to time, around any timber or on the outside of the lilly pads or moss. They will find it and you will know when they do.
