Re: Need pond help now!!!
I personaly would throw a suspend jerk bait fished slow first, along sides of the brush piles, than try the jig in the brush pile if you can get it down into it. Then I would try a tub or stick worm but what do I know that is how I would approach it. Seems it would be good to experiment in a pond there is no open water and you can usually hit the entire pond in just a few minutes.
Re: Need pond help now!!!
Stick to the jig around the brushpiles. The water is still too cold for fast-moving baits.
Re: Need pond help now!!!
you cant beat a yellow and black beetle spin in a pond...
Re: Need pond help now!!!
Take it from Ryan a beetle spin this time of year can be great. With the sun and warm weather were having those fish should be on the move. Ponds are going to warm up very quickly. If the water is stained, the sun will move the temp at a faster rate.

it is still going to be cold and slow all the fish u are talking about will hit a beetle spin.. just get chartruse ones, white ones and yellow and black.... and u might try some curly tail baby grubs too.... just dont over think what u are doing and dont get discouraged.... its just that tough time of year....
