Here we go folks our weekly installment of crazy whacked weather is now upon us. How bad will this one be, some of these weather geeks are saying close to or like the Ike episode. What the Sam Hill is going on with this weather around here, I don't ever remember it being like this all the dang time. And PLEASE don't say Global Warming, lol.
Global warming. Really. If you don't believe me now, just wait. There is no longer a debate among scientists that global warming exists... the debate only continues among those blinded by ignorance or ideaology (example, those who hate Al Gore because he's a Democrat tree-hugger who invented the Internet). Like it or not, he's right about this one. Weather patterns ALL OVER THE WORLD are screwed up.

You know I do agree that weather has changed I stated that. That being said I think weather is cyclic and is measured in changes of hundreds, thousands and even millions of years. Are we changing the planet's climate or is it just doing what it has always done and we are now in one of the more down, or turbalent times. You my friend, nor I, can say that with any certainty, no more than they can prove Global Warming. Oh and by the way not ALL scientist and weather people agree that GW is real some believe what I have stated above. More than 20 states this year recorded all time low temps. The earth itself has been cooler than it has been for the last 8 years, these are documented facts that occurred. So maybe they should call it something else other than Global Warming, lol. Oh and yes I do without a doubt believe that Al Gore is a complete useless dumbass along with the majority of his idiot liberal tree hugging friends, that my friend I am guilty as charged.

Naw, it's not real, don't believe it for one minute. I have read articles about how Global Warming is not real and you have read the opposite. So which scientists are right? Who knows? I believe you said it in your last sentence....weather patterns.

Weather is cyclic........AND the Libs and AL GORE specifically have used very GOOD scare tactics to convince many people otherwise.

Couldn't have said it better. I don't see how anyone can deny that the weather patterns are not what they were as recent as 20 years ago. I agree that the global climate is cyclic, but I also believe that we are more populated and polluted than ever, and that is putting the cycle in overdrive.
I am sure Geo will find a "reputable" Fox news story that says the last climate change several hundred thousand years ago happened even faster, and thank goodness to the actions of G.W. Bush he slowed this one down a bit. I wish I knew how to insert my "roll eyes" emoticon.

If you guys are so positive this is real how about show us your sources. Teach us what you know. Lets see how "reputable" your sources are.

Did you EVEN read it............
Or did you look at ANY of it.........or just post discounting it all because you've already made up your mind.
The way I see it...........I gather news from a TON of different sources, CNN, NewsWeek, Rueters, Fox, MSNBC, etc, etc.
I use FOX quite a bit, because most of the others will NEVER run a story on the other side..........Prove me WRONG.......
AND BTW........the story was about a cooling trend over the past couple years...........GLOBALLY.
AND I will tell you something else...........how many concurrent years of cooling are necessary to convince the WORLD that Global warming is not cause by humans.........There is enough data collected that states that over the past 8 years we've been in a cooling trend, all while fossil fuel consumption nearly TRIPLED..........hm, how does THAT happen.

Do you suppose all this RESEARCH BS on Cooling and Warming is all about that coveted GREENBACK. How much money do you suppose these researchers get to research this CRAP. Keeping drinking the koolaid, because I think MOST of what BOTH sides say is BULL. THEY say what the current administration want them to say so they can continue cashing the CHECKS.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't mean to offend - my point is that if you search enough sources you will find something to back any side of any argument. I read, and some were good, but I think there is alot of truth in what you say that we have made up our mind, and read other sources that differ from our preconcieved notions - and disregaurd a large portion of those. I think it is silly to ignore changes are happening. We all know and can agree that the earth and it's climate are continuously changing, but I don't understand how we can deny that rapid speed of the recent changes are not partly the result as human activity. As an avid outdoorsman, hiker, not so much tree hugger (I love my chainsaw), I want to do everything I can to preserve what we have.
I just remember the hole in the ozone - there were arguments to say it was a naturally occuring fluctuation in atmosphere - however, when the global effort to reduce cfc's, that hole quickly deminished.
