Not like it used to be, the joyous world of the internet kinda let the cat out of the bag on that little secret.
so should I just skip it this year, I will be heading to green river that day, but thought I would stop by on my way down and try it a few hours.
Theres no fish left!
Stoner

And what he hasn't caught Mr. Wigglesworth has soremouthed everyone of them so many times they won't bite anymore except for him and Wormin. They are trained you see........
Depressing. I was hoping to pull a bronze back out of one of the most historically important streams not only in KY but in fishing lore.
bassoholic...unfortunately buzzking is right. a well written article and some internet chat that followed (on this message board at least...i don't really look at other boards regularly) REALLY increased pressure on this small creek last year. nobody likes standing in line to fish, and alot of kvd wannabes in bass boats made fishing there last year a little frustrating (even dangerous at times) and alot tougher. a few short years ago it was one of the better fisheries in this part of the state for sure.
the fish are still there though man. largemouth mainly, some good brownfish, crappie, sunfish, some cats and lots of carp. two places to put in-frymans on 627 (my personal favorite) and ike's in the town of paris. hope this helps.
