fishing spots?
I am new to the state and I live in the Brownsburg area. I used to live in Illinois and I knew my way around there, because I go fishing just about every weekend. I am looking for some good fishing spots around the area that I live in, mainly for largemouth and smallmouth. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, I would really appreciate it. Fishing is going to be picking up here pretty quick and I wanna have some spots I can go to before and after work. Thanx

Re: fishing spots?
Im not familiar with alot of the smaller lakes but your probably an hour away from monroe. thats a great fishery and has alot to offer. Racoon lake is one that i like quite a bit, but not a whole lot of cover to choose from. its a little more challenging but a beautiful lake and theres alot of good bass in there.

your real close to eagle creek which has a 9.9 hp restriction. I live in avon which is about 15 minutes away depending on where you live there. Not a whole lot of good smallmouth really expect for the White River. Good Luck

Re: fishing spots?
If you have a 9.9 motor eagle creek is awesome, nice lake, little fishing pressure, nice fish too.

If you just want to fish from the bank for an hour or two in the morning and afternoon, drive around to the countless number of housing additions. Majority of them have retention pond that is stocked, especially the older additions. Make sure you ask for permission first.
