Me and my wife went today despite the wind. It was out anniversery so we decided to go fishing since it was pretty out. We stayed in Rogers Creek. We caught 4 smallies, 2 large mouth, and about 30 something stinking trout. She caught a smallie that was 4 lbs. She bout crapped her paints. She is used to the little blue gill out of a local river. Didn't know what to think when she seen a brownie smiling at her. By far her biggest fish. The rest were decent size. Over all she enjoyed it.
What was the water temp? Also i am thinkin about going to on monday. Do you mind sayin what you caught them on and depth?
My electronics wasn't working so I don't know. I was just throwing a jerkbait and my wife was throwing a crankbait. I was fishing Roger's Creek and Spruce Creek. I don't blame you for waiting till Monday. The water Friday was crazy with boaters. There was a tournement going on.
How big was the large mouth's that you all caught?
yea some friends of mine fished that tourny it only took 7lbs to win and that was two fish
I fished the 2 fish tourney today and it took around 10lbs to win
How did they catch'em? If you dont mind me askin? Also do u know the water temp?
Only took 8lbs an change to win berea bass club today,thats 2 fish with 1 over 5lbs...my buddies took 2nd with a 3+ LM,tough down there
We went yesterday and according to my Lowrance 520C water temps were between 45 and 47 depending on spots... around the Roger's creek area of Laurel .
Going back this afternoon in fact :D

One was 2 pounds and the other was bout 9 inches. Could have used him as bait. But then I would have went to jail if caught
