Aerator Help
Hey guys, I have Triton tr186 that is still under warranty, however I am about 1 1/2 hours from the closest dealer. I was practicing for a tourney this weekend and i noticed water in the bildge. I found it was leaking from the bottom Atwood Tsunami aerator/pump out pump. The pump itself was not leaking, it was just leaking around the pump. I found that the nut inside the livewell was cracked. It appeared it was overtightened and the silicone had held it till now. The problem is i cant find the nut i need unless I buy a new pump or take it to the dealer. Its just a 3/4" npt nylon nut with a flat back that tightens up inside the live well. Does anyone know where I can find one of these? Thanks Michael

Find someone to fix it or fix it yourself..........when it goes.........BAD things happen.
My buddy almost sunk his boat a few years ago. The RIGID plastic tube between the pump and areator broke during a REALLY cold, bumpy ride. We had no idea the boat was sinking until I noticed water on the back of the deck..........Once I saw it.......I QUICKLY moved to the front of the boat and had my buddy hit the bilge...........The bilge pump was not enough to pump it out.
We finally got the water out, by me pulling the plug, and then SITTING on te bow, while my buddy ran the boat to **** the water out.........It finally got out of the boat, but it was CLOSE.......
This is the same boat that BassMan purchased from WaterBoy a few years ago........

Re: Aerator Help
Fixing it myself is no problem. It only took 5 minutes to get the pump out. Im just trying to find the .75 cent part I need! LOL

Re: Aerator Help
Try a plumbing supply store, sounds like something they might have. Good Luck.

Re: Aerator Help
Take a sample of what you are looking for to your local hardware store. The ones around
here where I live have a large section of specialty items such as nylon nuts as well as
the various stainless nuts and bolts used for marine applications. In some cases they can order
the item if they do not have it in stock. You also might want to call your boat dealer and see if they have a extra part like you need and ask if they would mail it to you instead of you making
a 3 hour trip.
