I fished Nolin for three straight days over the weekend and only managed to catch 3 keeper fish. I caught tons of short fish. I saw where Renegades winning weight was 16 lbs. What on earth was i doing wrong. I've never been so frustrated before. I fished shallow, deep, flats, wood, stumps, drops adjacent to flats, main lake, creeks and anything in between.
I fished nolin yesterday and managed a few short fish. All the tournament anglers I talked were all frustrated as well.

Skeeter - Deep water & big baits. That is my suggestion

Man, I have the same problems, most of the time all I can catch is dinks, but every now and again, I will get into some nice fish, just keep slinging baits, and one day you will figure them out. Took me a lot of years to figure them out, and I still have days when I cant catch a cold at that lake.
I think the front had alot too do with last week.Yes out of all most a 100 boats it took 16lbs but look at where alot of the guys who know the lake finished.
I'll be out sat. starting a One on One tournament for NBAA and i can't think of a better way too prefish for the USABassin tournament on sun.
