Re: elmer davis good day
That's a good day for that little lake. The wife and I use to fish that lake together she likes the big gills up there. There are some weirdo's that live around that lake though. We stopped going after a game warden caught a guy and his SON placing nails under my tires while I was out on the lake. Game warden and I removed all that was left around my truck. When this guy and his SON saw the game warden coming they starting throwing the stuff in the lake and the woods. Upon questioning the fellow said he was cleaning them up, lol. Warden told me this guy was a head case from Ohio that moved by the lake and now thinks he owns it, and hates bass tournament guys cleaning HIS lake out. I release every bass I catch, what an idiot. This guy was teaching his young son to do this crap to, unreal. Game Warden asked me if I wanted to prosecute if I got any mysterious problems with my truck or trailer and wrote all my info down while I this moron stood off to the side. I wanted to kick his ass but my wife and the Warden wouldn't let me, and from the looks of this little briny shriveled up punk I don't think it would have been a long job either. Anyway I digress hopefully things have changed up there maybe I'll take the wife back up there again. I liked that little lake and it's only about an hour or so from my house, maybe a little more. Thanks for the report.

It was on the dam and about three years ago. Maybe that mental case has moved on somewhere else. The folks over at the little bait shop seemed super nice. I guess we just got skeered to go back up there with Jeffrey Dommer lurking in the woods, lol.
