Well I went today and had a blast. Caught a 14" Largemouth and a 16" White Bass. I was casting a white spinner bait with a red trailer hook. Using a BPS Extreme rod and reel. Weather was sunny 65 degrees and water temp was 55 degrees. Nice day wish I got a few more fish.
Buddy and I fished Meldahl pool yesterday and our best 5 would have went 11-12 lbs. My buddy caught a pig that was the biggest fish I have ever seen come out of the river. It was every bit of 7 and maybe 7.5 lbs. In all we caught 11-12 fish with 6 or so keepers. If I knew how to post a pic of the pig I would.

WOW! Nice fish. Went yesterday and caught a 10"-12" and a 12"-14" smallie wading up in the local Ohio River creek. A tiny KY to. Looked full of eggs but there where alot of crawdads slowly moving about, didn't want to stress em' it they where eggs so I pitched em' back real quick without poking and prodding them to much. Got to see a nice acrobatic display as well. Good luck to ya.
