Nice fish be glad your son likes to fish, mine did for a while but he is 19 now and shows no interest what so ever, I wish he did but maybe someday he will.
I hear ya about your 19 year old son, my son is 19 also an same story. I'll petty sure its got something to do with them girls and cars but they will be back.That is a nice fish,yell anyone would be like to hook.

Thank you so much........we have two others our oldest (daughter ---married to a Navy guy loves to fish but can't with us now) and our oldest son -- 20 same story loved to fish but has "other priorities now" LOL which NO doubt plays into why this fish is "so special" to me and why I wanted to share with folks here!

Good job nice smallie.He will get back into it oneday.My dad took me fishing when I was young and I got into other things lol.Then one day boom bought a boat.My son is 11 months old and he will do the same thing probably.None of us have forgotten the days that dad took us.Now I take him and he loves it.(except when I go 60 or so down the lake.)Anyway nice fish,congrats!
