Crappie Tomorrow, Where To Go?
Trying to decide where to take my son Mason tomorrow to catch a few crappie. Under consideration are Barren, Green and Cumberland, ???. I will be the first to admit I don't know much about crappie. Therefore any help on water color at any of these lakes, how deep they been bitin, what type cover they are holding on, how far back in the creeks, etc. would be appreciated. We plan to drown some minners tomorrow, good lord willing. My assumption is they are biting in the 2-6ft range in the back ends of creeks around cover???
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you're going to Barren, I think you have the correct formula. I haven't been in the last 2 weeks but I worked on them pretty good for the two weeks before that. With the rain that we've had, I'd bet that Barren looks a lot like chocolate milk right now. If you can find any halfway decent water, don't be afraid to fish any isolated wood. They may move out some with this front. Or, they may be right up against the bank. Anyway good luck wherever you decide to go.

Got a report from a friend of mine on Barren and its rolling & muddy.:( I'm afraid we will run into that where ever we go, so been thinking about a backup plan. Oh well, thanks for chiming in.
