ky lake first trip more good news

I posted about my first trip down a few days ago and didn't get a chance to tell you what happened to my uncle and his partner on Thursday night. Before I left Thursday, I talked to a crappie guy that showed me a brush pile that was about 30 yrds off the bank and 100 yrds long. He said that the bass really like it too but I was leaving then so I didn't get to hit it. I ran into my uncle fishing a point for crappie when I was leaving and told him about the spot. They fished it Thursday afternoon and really pulled a grand slam, An 8lber and a 7 1/2 at the same time! He called me Friday on his way back to Ohio to run smack on me. I won't charge him a Dave fee this time but no more info unless I'm there with him!!! :)
And thanks for asking and the well wishes, Dad is fine, just a really bad sinus infection and cold. And elnuts, that was pretty good on Dave fishin the Nile, I watched Charlton Heston and the 10 commandments last night, thought I saw someone fishing the weed bed where the basket with Moses was found, I swore that was a carolina rig fishing the edges there, you solved that one for me!

You wonder why DAVE and DIRT both have 4 letters and start with the letter "D", the answer is simple, DAVE named it.

You know, I'm going to leave this one alone now, anyone that is my ELDER (I'm the tender age of 39) and had a lake built AROUND them, I have nothing but respect for them !

Just proves the fact that ANYBODY can catch fish at Guist and Dale but me. I had much rather FISH than CATCH. Fishin is way more challenging than Catchin and Catchin is way overated.

Don't feel bad about guess creek, last time I was there, they had 2 tourneys at the same time, one of them won with 1 fish, which of course was 1 more than we caught there and the one from the hollow don't count to you anyway, it wasn't caught with a cork, not on a 20 ft rod, and it wasn't -20 at the time.

My brother in law fished a tourney at Guist 2 sat's ago. 44 boat, only 7 brought fish to the scales and 9lbs won it.

44 boats.... thats a good two hr turn on that ramp. I don't think I have ever seen 9 fish there much less 9 lbs but I've only been there 3 times and the last time was my last time.
