Man........only 4 fish today........
I really cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong.........I normally have no problem finding and catching fish on a lake but Patoka has been giving me the finger for quite some time.
Threw soft plastics, crankbaits, jigs, tubes, traps...................ALL.......
Shallow, flats, main lake points............rip rap..........ALL...........
Anybody do any good today...............
ANYONE have any ideas.

sounds like my usual day at patoka. i'm headin up there tomorrow so i'll let you know. any spawning yet?

It has it's days. What was the temp in the areas that you fished? I've had my best luck this spring up there on a slow rollin spinnerbait. No luck on plastics. I've only had a couple of days that were nuts. Any other time it's been steadily slow. Throw it, they will come.
It kicked my but again today 8 hours 1 keeper.UGH!
Guys Patoka was on fire this weekend. Practiced Saturday and had 6 fish and at least 15 shorts. Got2loveit tournament had a near record weigh in yesterday. 5 fish at 18 lbs won with many limits brought to the scales. I had a small limit at 13 lbs and culled 4times. The fish are in both pre spwan and spawn mode right now. Give it about 2 weeks and they will be guarding fry and it will be really good
good to know. i didn't get a chance to make it up there this weekend.
