Rough River Lake Report-not bad

Well, not a bad day on Rough yesterday, considering what mother nature through at our small tourney. Caught a lot of bass, but not much as far as size goes. Winning weight was just over 6lbs., I caught around twenty, with three in the 12-15" slot. Lake was pretty clear, just a little stained in the coves and creeks, but the main was perfect for natural colors. Only problem was some idiot in George Branch was shooting in our vacinity from a ridge! Judging by the shots, he was trying to run us out of the area, but when one hits 40 yds from the boat, you get a little nervous. Not familiar with the area, and not having a cell didn't help either. But overall, not a bad trip.
