Water Continues to Rise in Lake Cumberland-Where's the Ark?
Looks like were not done yet, possibly another 1.5 to 2.5 inches in the forcast for us by Saturday. The lake is up to 692 feet, that's 12 feet above the Corps target level of 380 feet. As a result, they are dumping it through the dam at the rate of 32,660 Ft^3/Min. Not a good time to be out there in your waders...He..He.
Drove over to the dam this afternoon around 2:00 pm and took the following pictures:

If you go out this weekend, caution is the word.

i assume that all this water rising, bringing the debris in and darkening the color of the water cant be helping the striper fishing... Any one catching them even in these hard conditions??? Me and my dad are thinking of going tomorrow but with the weather weve had and the water conditions im a little sceptical..

Does anyone know what happens to all the trash when it gets to the dam? The way they are pulling the lake I would think a lot of it will make it there.
