looking for a fishing partner
My dad is looking for a fishing partner. He had two great fishing friends that he fished with for years but he lost one last year and the other's health is not great. I get out with him from time-to-time but in trying to keep up with my job and 3 teenagers I can't get away very often. Dad is semi-retired, has multiple boats, and can still fish pretty hard but he is getting to the point where he doesn't like to fish alone. He lives in the Louisville area and fishes mostly for bass but he also fishes for other fish too. He has shown me the ropes on fishing for sauger and stripes at the Falls to smallmouth fishing KY streams to fishing for "toothies" in Northern Wisconsin and many things in between. So if there are any older, experienced anglers out there who would like to hook up with a new fishing friend shoot me an email or respond to this post with a contact and I will get you in guys in contact. Thanks and I hope this didn't sound too much like an ad on Eharmony!

Re: looking for a fishing partner
I'm also "quitired" and like to fish, mainly below McAlpine Dam. Shoot me a PM and we'll see what happens. I have a select group of guys I fish with, but I'm always interested in meeting new people.
I'm not a novice, but I'm not an expert either. I have my own boat (97 18 foot Stratos)
And if we're doing that dating thing. I'm 5' 10 235 pounds, with a grey beard and some hair on top!!!! LOL
Re: looking for a fishing partner
Just a note: I have met Kevin's dad a number of times. He is not only a very good angler...he is one heck of a nice guy and would be a great guy to have as a fishing buddy.

This might be one of those where sending a picture of the boat is more appropriate! I wonder what dimension on Eharmony that is!!! lol

Re: looking for a fishing partner
Any time your father makes it down here to KY or Barkley he's welcome to fish with me in my boat. Of course, "any time" means the weekends as I work full time.
