Falls, Bank Brigade
Fished at the upper in the swift water with the masses on Sunday afternoon and again on Monday morning. All I can say is if you go please take a large portion of patience with you, lol, you are going to need it. Had one guy casting out and bait was coming near my waist, he didn't understand that the current was moving his bait that far. I gave him a few if that bait hooks me I'm gonna hook you look and then finally he got tangled in my line. As I was undoing this mess I may have been mumbling some things he might have overheard and he left shortly after that, lol. Sunday night I caught a ton of stuff. Four sauger all decent, two Drum in the 4 to 5# range, 4 white bass, one was a dude, probably well over two pound. Some huge gizzard shad hooked in the mouth on jigs, ''WHAT'', I know they don't it jigs but these did, hooked right on the inside of the mouth. Also so many skipjacks I lost count. No hybrids and that is what I was after, dang it. Monday morning, had something almost spool me and came off, big Gar I think. Lost another Gar I saw that was about four feet. Everything else was skippies, I lost count, tons of them dang things.
Met a fellow fishin.comer, Eric Swinney, nice fella, Calmwaters is his handle on the site, nice to meet ya Eric.
Man, there are some serious characters down there, lol.

Where the carp really thick?
Friday the carp were so thick that you couldnt help but to snag them.
I cant wait for the hybrids and stripe to start showing up. I live for those days when you find that little rift in the current where the fish are going in and out to feed and you can catch em till your arms fall off!
