anybody want some river 101?

Hi guys, well got tghe itch bad to hit the river,,,its a bummer to be with out a boat right now. i GOT ONE I`m reworking for the river,,,,but don`t trust it yet. You HAVE to have a boat that you trust to start verytime on the first lick. Well I`m willing to show anybody where to get shad, my honey holes, how to get above the locks with out wreaking your boat,,,how to get to the upper dam, with out popping a prop...lol I can teach you alot in a very short time,,,,ask riverrat,Mhall,dakotakid,,,,and of corse my ole buddy fisheater if i can produce....LOL lets go!

I'd love to go with you. Wife has a bad case of the don't you dare go fishing or have any fun, so I will have to go durring the day when she's at work. I've got a 14' Lund with a 40 jet. A little small but it will get the job done. I'm most interested in big cats.

Hey Steve, hey you got a pretty good boat in that Lund,,,thats my dream boat,,,a big 20fter,,,,But yeah, I can go any time you get a chance and show you around,,,,even know a few of spots of chucks...lol HE SAID HE GOT A 55 LBER LAST FRIDAY. Well I can show you some spots to where you can get some biggens. The main thing to get the shad, thats the key,,so anytime your ready,,,the river is right....LOL

yeah i got it,,,i think i got that peice of crap we worked on running,,,,well maybe,,haven`t tryed it out,,,got all the water out of the tank and got her and she needed a water pump,,,,just haven`t tryed it,,,man being with out a boat sure suc-s! But I may get out and try and start it today if i can,,,LOL

Once again I'm a day late and 2 dollars short. I'd love to meet you, Doug, and we missed hooking up last year.

I'm heading to Minnesota Sunday morning for 7 to 10 days or I'd give you a call. Finally the river is looking good here.

Doug, I am interested in fishing the river for cats, I have an 07 17.5 ft fisher with a 60hp 4 stroke that runs great, never had any problems with it. Ive been wanting to get it out on the river but havent been able to figure out where to even start. I'm retired now and have plenty of time to fish so if you want to fish sometime give me a holler.

Doug, all of our favorite shad creeks are producing right now and the skips are everywhere.River was coming up quick Fri. and I guess I used up all my mojo last week Mark and I only managed 1, I caught a bout a 10# sissy fish. Mark did go a few rounds with a huge spoonbill before it decided it was done playin, like to wore him out. The river can be very humbling, but great day, great company and beats the heck out of work...Chuck

Yah, that's what happens when you pick a boat up that's a hurricane victim. Water pump, though, Huh. Glad to hear that you have it lined out, I'm off this following week. Building a fence on Tues and Wed, though. Other than that, I am free. Been ready and waiting for the mighty Doug's return!!! Lol! Give me a holler. Maybe, I'll ring you up today.
