Anyone had any experience with this rod?
Funds are running low and I want to experiment with the pony-tail handle rod ...
Any input is appreciated, thanks

I picked one up this winter for big crankbaits. It is a pretty decent rod. I have read both good and bad reports on it though. I have only used it twice and really can not find anything wrong with the crankbait rod. It doesn't feel quite as good as the Legend Tournaments, but it is a better feel to me than the Premiers.
I don't have any experience with the Mojos, but I can tell you that a rod with a split-handle grip makes the rod more sensitive than anything you have ever fished:cool:. It takes weight out of the rod, making it lighter and more sensitive to feel even the lightest of bites:).
I fish with Shimano Cumaras, and they are by far the most sensitive rods I have ever held in my hands:D. They are a split-grip rod as well.
I think once you pick up a split-grip, you'll probably want to make all the rods in your arsenal the same type. You'll also be able to feel what you've been missing, whether it's light bites or sensitivity.
I bought one this winter its the one labeled topwater/jerkbait and its pretty nice. I use it as a crankbait rod also because its got some backbone. Their not bad for the money.
I have three (actually two....just broke one this week-end) of the Mojo's. I have the crankbait, and plastics models and really like them. For the money they are really light, sensitive, and strong rods (except when hook-sets go awry). I just bought one on sale at BPS for $89.99....I pair them with the Quantum KVD Series reels and really like the combo.
You can't go wrong with any St. Croix. I found a Premier crankbait rod in my buddies garage that he had "bigfooted" a couple years ago. Sent it back and updated to an Avid series for a fee. But, the people there are easy to deal with and always helpful.
I have a Premier and a Triumph they are made of the same SCII graphite blank material as the Mojo I think they are alright for the money the Triumph was only 69.99
