is this a good rod
I don't have one but based upon some of the posts on this site I would say they are great rods. I read alot of good things about them on the board.
they are great rods you may break one every now and then but as for sensativity you wont find a better rod and as long as they replace them when they break i dont care but i have not broken one yet.
Boyd duckett is not sponsored by them anymore d/t quality issues sopposedly. So maybe they have changed. Just what I heard
i heard that the people that sold them have them coming back in faster than they went out if i were you id wait for the skeet rod to come out same set up same look half the price

Carrot sticks are great as long as they are fresh and not the kind cleaned in clorox, with a little ranch or honey mustard dressing, they are pertty tasty. lol lol lol . A buddie of mine has some and he loves them. they are lite and sensitive.
I know this thread may be old , but I have a AiRRUS Puls R rod , Ive had it since it first came out , got it before Ken Whitting went to E21. It is very sensitive , has the same handle as the carrot stik and I have not had one problem with it. It uses nano technology as well , just not carrot fibers.
Just get a berkley amp. Only 30 bucks. The reel seat isn't the best. Its lightweight and sensitive. I bought one to try it out. Now they will be the only rods on the deck of my boat except for an HMG. So far it has held up. I use them mainly for cranks, buzz, and spinnerbaits. If you break one....oh well. Better than breaking a 150 dollar rod. Biggest I've caught on them is a 4lber. Seemed to hold up fine.
I too like berkley rods. I have a couple of lightning rods I use almost every outing.

I would get it. They are good rods for the money.
