Cedar Creek help
Okay,
I'm fishing Cedar Creek this evening. I've fished it a couple of times without much success. Did catch a couple of nice ones on topwater one evening and caught a few little ones bank fishing. Can someone give me suggest some good techniques to use on this lake. The sheer amount of flooded timber is kind of intimidating to me as I'm used to fishing rock. Any advice appreciated!

Re: Cedar Creek help
The best advice a person could give you on that lake would be to fish the timber that is close to structure by the creek channel. Soft plastics, jigs, and crankbaits all seem to do very well. The topwater bite is great at certain times of the day also.:D

Re: Cedar Creek help
Thanks for the advice, Shimano. How deep is the creek channel there? I didn't really pay any attention to it the last time I fished it.

Re: Cedar Creek help
Try to find it on GPS if you have it. If not, target water around 12-18ft deep for this time of the year. Hope that helps.
