Where to fish from shore on Put-in Bay.
Where's the best places, and methods to fish from shore at Put-in-Bay. (See other post------pontoonie is staying home). Wife and I fished before from the wall at Perry's Monument on the harbor side in the evenings with good luck. We bobber fished nightcrawlers for gills. Where could we fish and how to have a chance at some walleye? We're going 2-6 August.
And thanks in advance for any help.

Perrys monument is a good area you are talking about. I have caught perch, smallies, wallys, and whitebass throwing Heddon Sonars off the wall. Try the south end of the island where the state campground is or was. This a small pebble rock beach area and is good fishing there too.
