New Albany Ramp Update

I attempted to launch from New Albany today. The access road sure does look pretty but that's where the prettiness ends.

The part of the ramp underwater is still a mess and at 9.9 feet I wasn't about to attempt to launch there.

The big pot hole and cave in on the river side of the access ramp is fixed but the underwater portion wasn't even touched.

I'll wait till river level is about 12 or maybe 11 feet before I look at New Albany ramp again.

Went over to the Clarksville ramp and trailers were parked all over the place. Never heard of 1.75 feet of dam being released. One foot on the upper and 0.75 on the lower. !!!!!

How was the fishing?

It pretty much hoovered. I caught one cat and a dink striper in 4 hours.

I was hoping they would do more as well. I looked at it while crossing the bridge and just had to laugh. Looks real pretty down to the water's edge, but that is where it ended. Hopefully, they will come back and do some more to the underwater part. Otherwise, I will also wait for the water to come back up a few feet.
