Ranger boat seat
One of the seats on my ranger boat has a release on the back side of it to raise the back rest up. The release is on the back side of the seat cushion and you just pull up on it with your finger tips and that releases the back to come up. My partner the other night when he went to raise the back up he apparently did not know about the release so he jerked it up and now when going down the road the back rest flies up. Can someone tell me if this release can be fixed?
Thanks

Re: Ranger boat seat
Interested in replies as I have the same problem .Mine was broke when I got the boat for some reason , but it had never been used . Talked to my Ranger dealer and he said Ranger would'nt replace it . What a shame, a brand new broken seat . I guess worst case you could put 1 of those straps that snaps down on it . I beleive Tractor Supply carries that but I'm not sure what it is called .

Re: Ranger boat seat
You might call Ranger about it instead of taking the dealers word for it that they won't fix it. One of my clients bought his Ranger from Gander Mountain and they were able to get it fixed.
