A pair of Keepers from Guist Creek

My son and I went to Guist Creek this morning (8/2/09). Our first time on the lake, ever. Applied some great teaching from Dave Stewart on Eliminating Water and This is what we found. Both fish were 5lbs, one caught at 8:30am on a wacky rig. The other caught at noon on a shakey head.
For anyone who hasn't been to Ky Lake with Dave and take his Eliminating Water class better sign up. He is a boat load of knowledge and he is willing to share. That's rare among good fishermen. Hint: Just remember to bring pencil and paper to class.
Thanks Dave, Your Eliminating Water class was awesome!

I have trip dates still available for the fall. The class is taught as a portion of my focused ledge teaching trips and lake familiarization trips but can also be taught as a part of any fun trip. I also will be teaching this class again this winter as a stand alone without the on the water portion of the aforementioned trips. I have not set a schedule for the winter classes yet...will do so in late Oct or Nov.
Ky Lake is 238 miles from Nicholasville...about 3.5 hours.
