I could be wrong but isnt figuring the pattern out for yourself why you go fishing , someone just telling you or you following someone else around takes 99% of the reward away . I may just be old school though , good luck I hope you figure them out............Jarrod

They are hitting them very late at night on jigs deep. Mostly brown fish though. Why on earth are you fishing the Holler and targeting largeheads. Target smallmouth and consider any green fish a bonus fish. I'd pass 5 keeper largeheads to catch two good brown bass anyday.
I actually go to dale for the Largemouths most of the time and not smallies, put a couple flippin sticks on the deck of your boat and dont put em down all day...jigs and brush hogs will do the trick

Oh don't get me wrong I know they are in there in numbers and some pigs to. I just don't see targeting largeheads at Dale with the smallmouth that lake has. Now.... if the smallmouth weren't biting at ALL and I had to... Yea, but that's just me. After I became a half way decent smallmouth fisherman, now when I catch a largemouth at Dale or Cumberland, I go, ''Oh it's just an old trash fish''. LOL, sorry I just love them ole brown fish.
