Newish Browning Bow Broke
Bought a new Browning Myst bow last year at Sportsmans Warehouse and used it a couple times last year and I pulled it out of the case this evening to practice a little and the first pull my lower limb splintered out badly. It didnt completely break~break but it looks dangerous. Never had one do this~anyone ever see it happen? I just hope Browning will be good about fixing the problem. Its barely a year old and I spent a pretty penny on it.
Re: Newish Browning Bow Broke
this is VERY danverous....the last thing you want is a limb to explode. has the bow ever been dry fired? were the limbs tightened properly? was the bow ever dropped? if the answer is no, then you might look for a recall on the web. when limbs explode, the outcome can be deadly.
Re: Newish Browning Bow Broke
I would contact Browning and see what you should do. My cousin had that happen on a PSE years ago and they had him ship it to them and the replaced the limbs free of charge.
Re: Newish Browning Bow Broke
I contacted Browning and they told me to take it to Kurtsingers in Danville and they would fix it or send me a new bow. They were very polite to deal with and I had a follow-up call today checking to see if I had any other problems or concerns with their products. Very professional customer service.
