Im going to be working in Indianapolis for the next few months. Can anyone give me some possible places to bass fish up there? I'll have my jonboat with me.

Summit and Westwood Lake in New Castle are pretty good.......I have not been there in a while though.
Lemon and the idle areas at Monroe might be good also.......Both of those are in bloomington.
Eagle Creek is pretty good, and also has a good walleye fishery......at least they did.
AND don't forget about White River.........FANTASTIC fishing there sometimes.

I had a guy tell me this week that Guist (spelling?) has been pretty good...and its in Indy. Monroe is my home lake and can be very tough if you don't fish it a lot, although as it cools down it will be a little better. The White River can be good for smallies and LMB. There is a ramp at 30th street and at the Broad Ripple Park. You have to be real careful there though when the water is down, or of course if its up and really flowing. PM me and I'll help how I can.
Geo...interested to hear about your experiences in the White River. What areas have you fished?
I do not live around Indy but drive there some and there are some good looking strip pits west of Indy and I think this is your type fishing.
