Prescription sun glasses for fishing????
Guys-
I am asking this for a friend of mine who is need of a new pair of prescription sun glasses. He is a big fisherman, so polarized is a must. Anybody have any advice on a good brand? Thanks in advance.

Re: Prescription sun glasses for fishing????
Most opt. will have a frame that is made for outdoor stuff. I just got the frame there and had them put the lens in, and paid the option to have them polarized. The frames I got were lightweight plastic with side shades that snap in to seal around your face on the sides - perfect for fishing. I like them as good as any frames I have used for fishing. I would tell him to go to the eye dr. and check out what they have - or they can order any style of name brand ones for him. The polarization they make if you pay for the best option, is as good as my Maui jims or Revo's I have had in the past.
Re: Prescription sun glasses for fishing????
Highly suggest Costa Del Mar. Find a local glasses/optician store that will order them for you and they will send them off to the company. These are by far the best polarized glasses on the market and they can have them fit just about any frame. Yes, glasses are on the expensive side but with the prescription added it is only around $100 more and well worth it!!!

Re: Prescription sun glasses for fishing????
If you wear glasses already, and just paid 3oo bucks for no line bifocals, glad you can afford costas! As for me, walmart and over your specs [poloroid glasses, about 16 bucks. After dropping a couple of good pairs into rivers and lakes, I'm very happy with mine.
