Go South!!!!!
There are some good schooling fish in the backs of the southern bays that will hit shallow cranks and topwater. I was there Saturday and caught over 50. They were mostly 12 to 14" fish and I only had 6 keepers. 2 were over 3 pounds and one was over 4. Those hit sammys in the middle of the day with the sun out. I went to ledge fish but struck out on that and moved to the bays around lunchtime and stayed until about 5pm. The waters down a couple of feet so watch out. If you know some good ledges you should get bit when there is current otherwise head to the back and have fun on the schoolers.
So........how south to get out of the pleasure boaters..........
Is it worth putting in at Ginger Bay................

Yeah, Ginger is far enough south. However, it's a horrible road back to the ramp. I'd recommend putting in at Jones Creek. It's only a couple miles north of Ginger. After than, Just start bay hopping your way south. Like the previous poster said, there are plent of fish on the flats in the bays to make your weekend enjoyable. Definitely don't go north of the 68 bridge. It's going to be a complete zoo up there.
