Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
isnt there one on lake cumberland in october?
Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
Barry,
It sounds like, from earlier posts on this tourney, that the drawdown they are expecting on LC is the reason for this move and the one in May is taking the place of the annual (well guess they can't call it that now since there won't have been one in 2009) event normally held in Oct. I am hoping this change also helps with the fog issues that lead to the accident during the event last year. I was in that one and I thought/would have been happier if they had launched that even later than they did (it did not launch till 8:30 and the fog was STILL way to thick for safety, as was unfortunately proved true by the events that transpired). I am really disappointed they have moved the locations also as I always liked the fact that not as many people knew LC as well as they do KY Lake, and I felt like I had a decent chance of doing well in it there. I don't know KY well and will most likely not fish it since there are so many people who live, eat, and sleep fishing that lake so much. Just not the same having it there as it was on Cumberland, but I would say it may increase the turnout for them, who knows.
Rob

No, Barry there won't be one on Cumberland in Oct. It has been canceled and rescheduled for this coming spring on Ky Lake. Tentative date is May 1st. Watch for more info here soon. Hope to see you there in the spring.
Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
Dont know if we'll be able to make it to this one or not now...too far of a drive for us to get handled by some locals
Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
Hopefully they make it the second weekend in May so it does not conflict with the USA Bassin Classic. Glad to see them move it to Ky/Barkley. I know John has been spending quite a bit of time down there.
Re: Bullet Boats Tournament

Yeah there's a big group of us from this area fishing the BFL out there this year. I've learned more about those lakes this year than the last 4-5 combined. Caught a BUNCH of fish and some nice ones too.

Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
Hey webby got a question for you... How many boats you sold out there around Ky lake . You always said the Bullet tourney was for your customers and not for profit. Seems to me that the area you work at would have more customers around you.I understand you think the interest may be down around here but after last years fiasco I could see why.... Maybe it is time to relocate. Not as many people out there know the history.
Any way good luck where ever you have it.........
Re: Bullet Boats Tournament
we wont be making it also, it should have never left this area! oh well alot of us really enjoyed it here i guess not nomore. goodluck where ever you have it.
