After being in the hospital most of last year waiting for a liver transplant I'm now released to get back on the water. I usually fish between lock 7# and 6# on Ky River but would like to hear any reports or tips for Frankfort downriver to Elkhorn. Thanks
Dester; I love good news, great to hear you're back in fishing form! The lock downtown rarely dissapoints, especially when using live bait. If you're anygood with a cast net, drive down 460 towards Georgetown, hit the tailwater of Johnson dam and get you a bucket full of chubs. I use a $30. Frabill to keep it alive. There are whites and sauger just waiting for you.
Re: A year without Fishing
Thanks everyone, I had a minor health setback but I have the all clear now. Keep on fishin'
Re: A year without Fishing
Best wishes Dester. I hope you have many great days on the water.
