On the last trading day before 9/11/2001 the Dow Jones Industrials closed at 9605 and today it closed at 9605. What an up and down ride it has been in between, in many respects. (Maybe I should have kept this til Monday but I couldn't wait.)

It does sound spooky but we were headed for recession and even though that attack hurt our economy we bounced back because Americans are resilient people and we bounce back from our current economic situation because we're Americans.!
