Trolling for East Fork hybrids
Went to EF yesterday with my buddy. We trolled deep diving Gizz 3's and Gizz 4's. Fishing was tough because of high pressure, but we were able to trigger a few strikes. We caught 7 or 8 hybrids from dinks to two that were 2 lb and one just shy of 5 lbs. All but one were caught on the Gizz 3. We tried getting on top of a school and using Flitterbaits but could only come up with a couple of crappies.

I hit it today. It was kind of tough. Got one early on an umbrella rig about 5 lbs, another on live shad about the same size. Couple more that were less than two pounds and skinny on shad. I kept marking some deep and tried a silver buddy but it just doesn't compare to a flitterbait.

One of the smaller hybrids I caught was very skinny also. I hope it is just a fluke, but it does bother me to see fish in that kind of shape. We used a Flitterbait a little and caught two crappie. One was caught on the big Flitterbait and was just a little bigger than the bait. I cant wait to use the big Flitterbait on Lake Cumberland this fall. I can't wait till the big Flitterbait is ready.
