Lady - Please don't foret to give us a report when you get back. Lookin' forward to hearing how you did.
yep as of now sat nite this place is a joke one keep at 12 1/2 yesterday 2 small ones to day all 3 came on a black shakey head hopefully tommow will be a better day
Believe me it's the places your trying. Try a Junebug Baby Brush Hog with the tail dyed Chartreuse & a Black&BlueJig BlkBlu swimmin chunk dyed chartruese or a Brown Orange Jig with Grn Pkn swimmin chunk dyed the same on some bluffs with ledges or a lot of rock for cover & also the main lake pointswith lots of cover. We had a couple 2.5 pounders & a 4 pounder(smallmouth) & a largemouth around 2.5 lbs. Friday night & some Kentucks. Last Thursday night we absolutley wore the Kentucks out & had a few largemouth also. Move around a lot & when you fine them you'll catch them. Green has been good to my buddy & myself since the first trip of the year on the fourth of July weekend. Cover is a must & the rougher the better. This is where all of the 3 lb. plus have came from all year, but most times it's a little bit later bite (from 11:00 on)that the better fish have bit for us. I'm certain I could have changed up some & would have caught them(the better fish) earlier , but I wasn't fishing any tourneys this year or I would have. We've had several good limits this year on Green. Hope this helps. After they start pulling it next week it's back to the Cumberland for me.
