Sorry but a rant!
First let me say this is all Bush's fault and I know what you are thinking, why couldn't I wait one more day to post this but I couldn't and I've got to get this off my chest asap.
So I really really hate that this has happened and there is no excuse for such a thing to happen but it did so we all can thank Bush's descision making for such a stupid mistake.
Anyway, so I cracked open a can of Bush's Baked Beans (my favorite) and find out they have changed something. I can't quite put my finger on what they have changed but they are now a lot sweeter tasting than they used to be (yuck) and I'm outraged.
End rant. I feel better now :)

Lol. Okay but here is how this happened.
Well, Bush's awesome recipe use to be secret and was terrific tasting to most people as you have attested to. They wanted to keep the recipe safe so keeping it secret was the best way to go. But apparently someone thought differently and made the recipe public to the world for transparency puposes. And the recipe wasn't safe anymore. Then some members of the public started whining about not liking the recipe and thought they thought it was time for a "change".
Well they got their way and they got the "change" they were wanting. It seems however "change" isn't all it's cracked up to be. It seems the new recipe leaves a bad aftertaste. ;)

Hey start your own post, I see what you did with the "change" thing. I loved those beans before Bush's messed with them so have a little sympathy and don't try to slip a veiled political reference in there.
Just kidding, pretty funny and I guess I asked for it.

Re: Sorry but a rant!
LOL....I tried "Heinz" Ketchup recently (it's weak) and it tasted funny (kinda like ACORNS?) plus I started having this feeling of wanting to give my hard earmed money to people I didn't even know just because I felt everyone should have what I have...you know to be fair.:)
Whew! I'm glad I ran out of money that week because who knows what would happen if people kept getting money who didn't earn it.....heck they might start expecting it!:eek:

You must have been trying Bush's Burbourn Baked Beans; I think they are short on burbourn and long on the sweetner. Bush's talking dog may have added one of his own secret ingredients to the recipe. lol
Call the '"800" number on the can and complain; they will probably send you some discount coupons to buy more.

I think those beans were called Clinton beans. Some people really liked them. The problem was that you could only get them under the table. And I heard that they left a bad aftertaste too. :)

You're welcome, friend. The guys should remember the the Bush's Bean song from elementary school.
"BEANS"
Bush's beans are good for the heart;
the more you eat, the more you _____ . (it rhymes with heart)
The more you ____ the better you feel;
Eat Bush's beans at every meal."

Re: Sorry but a rant!
Maybe this one os a little more family friendly:
Beans, beans, the musical fruit,
the more you eat the more you toot.
The more you toot, the better you feel.
Eat beans, beans for every meal.

Re: Sorry but a rant!
I blame it all on those Bush beans. Perhaps the Bush company needs someone to help them "change"...."change" is needed in the company...."change" is crucial....we need "change" in our beans...."change"..."change"...."change".....yet, the beans remain the same? In fact, the beans are getting worse? :p
