As busy as I've heard Cedar Creek is would there be any point in even trying to bank fish around the dam ramp area? Or would there be too much traffic and/or other fisherman?
Thanks

I've observed bank fishing at a pulloff on the western end of the dam.
Plenty of bank fishing around cedar creek--do it all the time--Coming from Standford the first boat ramp area is good--you can walk around the bank--although you have to fight the weeds there are paths to follow. Rip rap around dam is good and then the first turn off above dam has easy access. Have casught fish in the five to six pound range from the shoreline all on artificial baits.
