Is NO ONE even paying attention......

2 weeks ago, Joe Wilson was HAMMERED for calling Obama a LIAR when the "chosen one" said NO ILLEGAL would be covered by the health care plans being proposed........

NOW, the DEMS are putting forth an effort to give ILLEGALS an opportunity to purchase INTO the government supported plan....

HM....I guess Obama is.......................A LIAR...........

Geo. I must correct you. We are already letting illegals have health care coverage. When an illegal has a baby in Ky we can give them emergency medical coverage for 1 mth to cover all costs with the birth of the child and if they have an accident we also can cover them for that, it is called emergecy medical and they can be covered for a yr. Also the child can get a welfare ck if the father is not in the home and the motehr has no income. All these programs were instututed under the Bush admin. So we have been paying for them all this time, also if they are preg they can come here for a denial letter, they are not eligable for emg med until baby is born, and the health dept gets reimbursed for all their prenatial care. They are already getting health care.

I know we already give them coverage.........AND these programs were NOT instituted under Bush.......they were instituted under REAGAN...... :)

Actually there are a ton of other programs that also allow for immigrants to get coverage.

BOTTOM LINE.......If they want to participate, I really don't have an issue, but MAKE them PAY......and become REGISTERED workers....

Legalize them somehow.......NOT legitimate citizens, but legal workers. Make them PAY TAXES, MAKE THEM PAY for health care.....

If there are 42 MILLION people without health care............charge them 1000 each, now you have 42 BILLION in revenue to USE to cover their medical expenses...If you charge them what I PAY, you'd have almost 420 BILLION in revenue.

I'm SICK and TIRED of the handout mentality...........they should have to PAY something.....

Geo help me out here--if Obama was indeed lying, why is there a need now to amend the legislation to cover illegal aliens?

I must have missed this on the news. What new effort it being put forth to allow them to buy into the government plan? Y'know, if they're doing that, it might actually be a good thing. From what I've seen, the "government option" seems to lack the votes necessary to pass, and I don't think adding coverage for illegals is going to gather it any more votes.

My thoughts:
a. When they show up at the emergency room without coverage, we all pay for it. Why not make them pay if they they want to "play".
b. Ahhhhh...if they are reporting to and paying in a government plan, don't we then know they are here.....sounds like a well baited trap to me. "Go ahead, sign up, we will give you family care.......signed up?.........aaaah-ha! Gotcha Pedro, here's your bus ticket, and thanks a lot for what you paid in so far. "

I absolutely do not agree with giving them the opportunity to become legal workers or apply for citizenship. We got too many Americans out of jobs, send the illegals home. If the illegals want to be a U. S. Citizen, they need apply from their home country and enter legally. Otherwise, we are rewarding a person who broke immigration law by allowing him to become a citizen after breaking the law of the country the illegal now says he wants to be a part of. Face it, most of them don't want to be citizens, and pay taxes, and serve in our military, or do jury duty. They want to sneak in, swipe a job, **** up free health care, and pay no taxes on the money they earn and have no responsibilitites to their new host country or new host country govt.

Again, if they want to play, they pay. If they play, they play by the rules, and honor all the duties of a LAW ABIDING citizen.

but that's just my opinion, I could be wrong...........

Don't get me wrong, I wish the govt had the wherewithall to police up every illegal, and ship them home, at the expense of the govt that they belong to. But we don't, so don't make me pay for the illegal that shows up at the ER, at least give him a chance to pay his own way, even if doing so causes him to get caught and shipped home.

Problem is after they send a couple home the rest will scurry away and hide like roaches.
They have huge networks in our country of finding work,illegal document forging,how to milk the system for every cent,and warnings of impending raids.
I think they should put a bounty on them like coyotes and it would rid of the problem and save us all Billions of $$$$. I'm so sick of our Govt wanting to reward CRIMINALS.
