Wow, cancer patients have much better survival rates in the good old USA than in Europe where they have socialzed medicine and suddenly the government says women don't need mammograms as early or as much as the used to.
Now let's see what the media says.
First, the POTUS network

• Among European countries, only Sweden has an overall survival rate for men of more than 60 percent.
• For women, the average survival rate for all cancers is 61 percent in the United States, compared to 58 percent in Canada.
• For men, the average survival rate for all cancers is 57 percent in the United States, compared to 53 percent in Canada.
• British men have a five-year survival rate of only 45 percent; women, only 53 percent.
• In the United States, 85 percent of women aged 25 to 64 years have regular PAP smears, compared with 58 percent in Great Britain.
• In the United States, 84 percent of women aged 50 to 64 years get them regularly — a higher percentage than in Australia, Canada or New Zealand, and far higher than the 63 percent of British women.
Some eye opening stuff there Tim. I heard about the mammogram deal on the radio at lunch, and my first reaction was to think about socialized healthcare.
Be interesting to see what tack Slippedcork takes to try and give this one a spin in to the left.
BTW, after reading the threads of the last short time period, I've come to believe Slipped is not only a plant, but a female. She juat plain gets too much pleasure out of baiting Bug with chauvanistic comments.

Thanks for noticing. He has whimpered and whined about everything I say and has, today, accused me of calling him a Silverback. As bad as the Silverbacks Indoor Football team is, he couldn't get to do their laundry. They have been losers since the team first began but I like them because they keep trying so hard.
Grumpy called us out on the discord and I felt obligated to respond out of respect for him. I can only hope he notices that Slippedcork trolls around looking for posts that he can twist around and pick a fight with someone, anyone, (not just me), so he can play the innocent victim role.
Cant dispute the facts, especially if they come from fox news.
