anyone fish Green over the weekend? any info will help thanks in advance
was out there all weekend....didn't catch any really good fish but had decent numbers every day....most of our fish were coming out of 30-40ft of water....deep and slow is the only advice i can give ya
Went to Green last weekend(11/15), caught about 15 Kentucky bass under the black pipes near the water tower in Robinson creek.(They are installing new water pipes in Robinson creek near the old water tower, they are floating near the tower) Also across the lake near the shallow point, we caught 2 muskie 25" long. We went back to Green this weekend(11/22), went toward Holmes Bend and caught 1 Largemouth (14") and a small muskie (15") way up in a creek. I may try and go back after Thanksgiving. Has anyone tried the ledges in deep water during the winter?
Thanks,
Stanley
the deep water seems to be the way to go.....ledges, drops, etc....have been catching a lot of good kentucks and some decent largeheads....will probably be back out there this weekend myself
thanks guys, what is the water color, and temp??
color was good down around lone valley...but the farther you went up towards ramp 1 the darker it got....water temp was pretty consistent between 54 and 55
Tubes & Jigs deep. Sometimes it is only the small tubes that they'll hit. Depends on the amount of sunlight.
thanks everybody going to fish Friday will post a report on Saturday

i fished last weekend too and had some luck with the ky bass, had one right at 4 lbs on a jig,and 2 more smaller.i also lucked into another smallmouth,it was a real nice one but broke off when i was netting it.i did find some 59 degree water on the bluff walls, but didnt get bit there.
