HAVE GONE TO lAKE MONROE 3X IN LAST WEEK AND A HALF HAVE CAUGHT 1-6LB 2-4LB A FEW 2LB AND OF COURSE THE SHORT ONE WENT TODAY BEAUTIFUL DAY TO BE ON WATER. WATER CLEAR TEMP 52 BIGGEST ONE ON BUZZ BAIT OTHERS ON CRANK AND SPINNERBAIT FISHED LOWER END BETWEEN FAIRFAX AND DAM

ALSO iAM GOING TO WINTER FISHING GET TOGETHER ON DALE HALLOW IN DEC . DO SOME FNF

Glad to read a positive report about Monroe. It gets so much 'bad press'. It used to be my favorite fishing hole...

Hey , no problem , I was just messin around.

Monroe is a tough lake to catch fish...especially come summer time! Plus it gets LOTS of pressure! Its one of those that u have to fish a lot to figure them out! This fall has been very productive for me and a few guys I fish with. That magic water temp. seemed to be in the low 50's. Glad to hear you did well CMorg....I bet that topwater bite was fun!!! Any stripers????

Have only caught couple strippers used to do well for them in late october and november but not this year
