Great Day On CC!
It was a beautiful day...cold, slight wind, misty and the best part...it was LONELY! I was literally the only boat on the lake until I pulled out and guy was putting in to crappie fish.
Caught 6 LM from 9:30-12:45...the smallest 13" the largest 17 1/2". Caught the smallest on a senko among some stumps...but it was my first cast which was great. The rest were all caught on a yllw/black crankbait at about 5-6 ft. I threw green/blk and orange/yllw/blk but they didn't hit on those colors. Missed 2 back in the finger behind the middle ramp on a shallow running grn/orange craw crank.
Water was pretty clear and the fish were surprisingly aggressive on the bite.
I love winter fishing!!

Re: Great Day On CC!
Nice Day I'd say on CC, no boats!!! I was there 2 weekends ago and looked like the lake was turning over, bad smelling water and brown.I'm assuming that is the lake turning over. Was it still like that or had it finished already. If I'm wrong about the turnover would someone tell me why the brown color and awful odor. Thanks. A good day on the water Troutcrazy!

The water was pretty clear down to 4-5ft. There was some stain to it, but there was no odor or real dirty water anywhere.
