Back from vacation

Well, got back from Florida last night...have no idea why I left 80 degrees weather to come back to this cold but wife said I could not send her home on a plane and come back when it warmed up around here next spring.

Had a lot of phone calls and emails about dates for my classes this winter and trips next year and I think I got all of them answered but if you called or emailed me in the past couple of weeks and did not get an answer, please contact me again and we will get you set up. Thanks.

No, did not get to do any fishing on this trip, but really wanted to throw a crankbait in the Shamu pool at Sea World but better half would not let me.

sounds bad went to flordia warm weather and no fishin. 80 degrees i would have to be fishing but sounds like u had fun.

I'm heading out to sarasota florida on christmas day, unfortunately i will not be taking any fishing gear, but it will be nicer sitting in warm weather thinking of fishing than in cold doing the same.

Well, I could have gone fishing acutally...my wife mentioned that maybe I would like to take a day of our vacation and do some but she had never been to Orlando and we had my oldest son and my daughter in law with us also and the trip was planned around all the parks there so the wife could see as much as possible in the week we were there...and you can't see it all in a week that is for sure...lol...I know because we tried...lol. Anyway, it isn't like I don't get to fish much...lol.

88 degrees and Balmy here in Dale Hollow Land. Shamu spotted TODAY in my dip net with Crankbait hanging from jaw. Mike "Big" Willie seen holding rod and reel in amazement that Shamu would hit HIS crankbait and not Elnut's little FNF Jig. Elnut reported that even Shamu was no match for the 10' All PRO FNF Rod and his 6lb Flourocarbon Leader so he would play "good guide" and let Mike catch just one. Shamu reported some old FART was at Sea World last week trying to catch him out of the Mustard Flowers with a Texas Rigged Lizard but he was way too smart for that. Shamu also reported that one Becky was seen beating the crap out of one really old man that she kept calling "DAVE" because he was begging her for $5 to buy a crankbait. Becky said they needed air fare to get back to the Balmy conditions in (whatever city that Dave and Becky lives in between Aurora and Draffenville) and they could not spare the $5, especially since Dave had drunk way too many "Carbonated Beverages with pretty pink unbrellas inside". Tune in later to find out the continueing saga of "As the Dave Turns".
