Lake Waveland Closed for 2010?
Has anyone heard if Lake Waveland is going to regulate tournament fishing 2010? We have heard (rumor?) that they are control number of boats on the lake. We have tried calling Waveland but no answer. Any help would be appreciated!!

I heard, and it is just a rumor also, that you will have to register your tourney with the city since they run the lake. Heard there were too many tourneys and that it was overly crowded. You should be able to call the town of Waveland and find out.

Hey man, that's a misleading thread title. I started to feel real bad when I saw the title but felt better when opened the thread. I can see why they want to limit the number. It's a small place with no speed limit and limited parking. A small, crowded lake with knuckleheads running WOT is begging for trouble. Probably someone from the non-tournament or non-bass fishing segment of their visitors is complaining. They might just follow what Boggs is doing.
