On the main lake, 48, fished a hump by Trooper Island, threw out over deep water, using livebait, not shinner's lol. Caught a couple one over 5, didnt get as many fish today but only fished a couple hours. lake is stable according to dock people still has good color.
The big fish are moving, I couldnt find anything drifting so I did it the lazy way

Nice fish! Curious as to what kind and size hook you use with live bait?

Re: 12/23/Dale
Nice fish! I've really wanted to try Dale Hollow smallie fishing out. Ever since we started going to Canada ever year for smallies, I've really started to enjoy fishing for them. It would just be hard to go from being able to catch near 100 a day up there, to 1-2 down here. But if those 1-2 are 5 lbers, I might be up for it! :D Nice fish!

just a simple wire crappie hook 2/0 by eagle claw,
years ago eagle claw quit making the 1214 in 3/0 so those boxs of a thousand we bought years ago are fairly valuable & rare, and almost gone
