Re: Going to Lake Kissimmee
Watermelon, white and red shad colors work well for me down there. Super Flukes in watermelon are a must for me around the spawn when the fish are up cruising the shallow grass. I'm always equipped with a flipping stick and tubes, craws or creature baits and thats where I use red shad the most. Man several days of warm weather can turn those fish on!!
Re: Going to Lake Kissimmee
Everything DJD said plus stock a lot of plastics in Junebug w/Red as well, especially Zoom Trick Worms
Re: Going to Lake Kissimmee
take plenty of senkos in these colors also.

Re: Going to Lake Kissimmee
I'll be on Kissimmee and Walk-In-Water from Dec. 30- Jan. 4, just flip that "Kissimmee Grass" with screw in weights or pegged weights and punch those mats!!! I use Craws, creatures, 10" worms, beavers.... The pencil weed can be very productive too....just flip back in the rows of the reeds and fish em kinda slow!! The past two years i haven't had a topwater bite in Jan. hopefully it will be on this year, a friend of mine that comes with us every year went down in march of this year and caught a 12lber on a plastic buzz frog! hopefully they'll be hittin on those....I wouldn't rule out heading to hatchinaw or Cyprus lakes they are connected on the North side of Kissimmee!
