Just some interesting tidbits about the game Saturday:
The last 3 times UK faced Louisville while UK was in the top 5, Louisville won (12-27-97 UK #3, 12-26-98 UK#4 and 12-27-2003 UK #1) 2 of those games in Rupp.
Also, the last 3 UK coaches have lost their first game to Louisville in Rupp.
UofL has never beaten UK 3 times in a row.
UK has never swept the FB and BB games.

A lot of things are changing with UK basketball, and this Saturday will be some more changes.
UK will sweep the FB and BB match-up, a coach will not lose his first game versus Louisville in Rupp, etc, etc, etc. LOL
In all seriousness, it's going to be a good game. Win, lose, or draw, I can't wait!

i figured it had been done before, just wanted to bring it to the attention of some that didnt know that the cats might get it done this year.
Actually Skeeter, I am not sure about the womens game, but since the Lady Cards usually win I just ass/u/med that it has happened. I do know that the sweep of the football/basketball game only happened once and Louisville pulled it off.
None of this really has any bearing on the outcome of this weekend's game, but fun to talk about nonetheless!
